Having a Border Bank Credit Overdraft linked to your Easy Access Account is like having a pre-approved loan for those unexpected bills or that great bargain you find. You may use this facility when you have no money left in your account.

You can access funds with your Visa Debit Card through ATMs and EFTPOS.

Costs you nothing to be pre-approved

    The overdraft will cost you nothing in interest — until you access the funds. Even then, you’ll only pay interest on the amount that you draw down and there’s no end date.

    Your repayment amount each month is 2.5% of the outstanding balance at the close of each billing statement — or $5.00, whichever is greater.

Make payments your way

    You can make additional or more frequent repayments as often as you like.

    Payments can be made via payroll deductions, periodical payments, Internet Banking, or deposits through Bank@POST™.

Important Information

Who can apply:You can apply for a loan individually or jointly with one other person or multiple person/s. To apply you need to:
  •       be at least 18 years old.
  •       have a regular income.
  •       be a permanent Australian resident.
  •       be able to make your repayments.
  •       want to borrow more than $1,000.
